PERSONAL UI EXPLORATION · MADE OUT OF CURIOSITY
TrailWatch
A small idea for getting outside—and paying closer attention.
ROLE UI Designer / TOOLS Figma / STATUS Mobile design concept

It started with wanting to make something
I made TrailWatch for fun, inspired by the idea of encouraging people to spend more time outside. It became a mobile interface for noticing changes along a local trail and keeping a record of what you see.

The direction I explored
Soft greens, warm neutrals, and landscape-like textures give the interface an outdoor feel. The concept connects a trail overview with simple observation inputs and past notes, making a small act of noticing the center of the experience.
An exploration with room to grow
This was a personal design exercise rather than a full research-led UX project. I focused on the screens and visual direction. A next step would be to talk with walkers and hikers, test an observation flow outdoors, and learn which information they would actually want to record.

Made for the joy of making
Not every project starts with a brief. TrailWatch gave me space to follow an idea, practice interface design, and build something around my interest in getting outside.
